Ultimately the purpose of Lambeth Masjid is to bring people closer to Allah by equipping them with the necessary skills to serve society and humanity at large. We aim to achieve this by promoting the pure teachings of Islam, using a tradition that has been protected through many generations from one pious heart to the next in an unbroken chain of transmission. By teaching our faith in this pure and preserved form, Lambeth Masjid will allow individuals to come closer to its essence, free from the confusion often embedded within the media, culture and modern day society. Given the fact that British Muslims constantly face negative stereotypes on a daily basis, we feel the best way to overcome these difficulties is to provide beneficial knowledge so that the teachings of our beloved Prophet (May peace and blessings be upon him) can flourish forever.
